Trevor has been my family law lawyer since 2012. I originally retained him to initiate divorce proceedings back in 2012, but have kept him as my counsel throughout given his intimate knowledge and background with the scope of my extensive and difficult file. First and foremost, Trevor has professional integrity and is honest, both to his clients and in court, which is surprisingly not always the case with other lawyers. He provides exceptional counsel to his clients to temper expectations with reality, and is focused on helping to reduce unnecessary conflict and related costs. Even when Trevor moved from Vancouver to Toronto, I continued to retain him for his services and brought him back out as needed. This illustrates how much confidence I have in him and his value to my case. I would not hesitate to recommend Trevor for your family law needs.

Living in Ontario, I needed somebody with BC credentials to finalize my paperwork. Trevor was an excellent listener, completed his work in a timely manner, and in my case even though we went a little bit overtime, he stuck to his original quote, and everything went smoothly. I recommended him to a friend, and she has been very happy with his progress in sad and specific family matter, that up to this point, other lawyers could not achieve Trevor's success.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trevor Smith Family Law aided me in resolving a custody dispute with the mother of my first child. It was a very difficult time in my life but Trevor made the process straightforward and mitigated the level of stress that dealing with family court can create. He made himself available to answer any of my questions and concerns and I never felt confused at any time during all the precedings. While I hope I never have to go through the family court system again. It brings me some comfort knowing that if need be I will have someone that will fight for my best interests.
