I am very pleased with me experience with Eric Shapiro. His attitude is great , and unlike many other lawyers these days who often only want to make money on you and will lie to your face just so you work with them, he will tell you how things really are and where you most likely will end up. It is also important that he cares about the children involved in the family matters and always tries to protect their best interests no matter which side he represents- and it is important for me as a mother. He has decades of law experience and a really good track record. Definitely a good experience working with him.

We hired this lawyer to handle my daughters divorce case, but it was a huge mistake. He was always unprepared, disorganized, and ignorant of the basic rules of the Toronto courts. He wasted time and money by constantly arguing with other lawyers and judges, instead of focusing on my case. He also lied to me and the court about the facts and evidence, and got angry when I questioned him about his mistakes. He failed to file the necessary documents on time, and caused me to lose my rights and assets. He is the worst lawyer I have ever seen, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Eric ripped me off for $13k. Brought me to wrong levels of court and stopped answering my calls after a few months. As a result I lost my son to his abusive father. Now my son suffers from his father's abuse. Don't lie Eric. Court transcripts from May 23, 2002 prove the judge corrected you about what level of court you had to bring our motion. That day alone cost me thousands of $$$.
