As we are approaching to the end of my separation and divorce now, I can confidently recommend Solmaz to anyone who is going through the same thing. She is always on top of everything and explains to me in a way that I can have better understandings, since law is not my profession, and people do get clouded by their emotions during this process, it is very hard to stay calm and logical. I had some bad experiences prior to Solmaz with other so called "experienced" lawyers. I'm happy that my friend referred her to me afterwards. Katie Gaboury of Separy Law has truly been my rock. I had worked with a couple of other lawyers before being referred to her, and the difference was night and day. Katie is honest, fair, and an exceptional communicator. She’s easy to reach, always returns calls and emails promptly, and often takes the initiative to move things forward through settlements and mediation. Went to family court. Not happy with results of court order. I regret settling less than I wanted to settle for. My lawyer didn’t push what I wanted and instead discouraged me to pursue them and persuaded me to accept the terms/offers of other party. Now a year later, nothing happened or changed and I can’t do much. Advice. Weigh your options very carefully and don’t make a final decision just because your lawyer says its the best. Make sure it’s the best for you.
