After working with four family lawyers, I can give an honest and helpful advice to anybody who is going through the difficult and arduous family law legal process. I first sought help from Sophia Dhramshi from this firm mainly due the fact the her rate was discounted by the employee assistant program (EAP) through my work. This was the biggest mistake of my lifetime. Sophia handled my case in the most incompetent and unprofessional way possible. First, she refused to represent me at the motion on the ground that she doesn't travel to court in Toronto. She never disclosed that the motion will be virtual and didn't need her to drive to Toronto. Secondly. she was so intimidated by the opposing counsel that she quickly pushed my case to her colleague, Audrey Lee, whom she characterized as competent lawyer who specialize in litigation. The moment she realize that the OC is an aggressive type, she pushed my file with no proper handover or providing any context to her colleague. Audrey Lee was another incompetent lawyer who have no business standing in court or handle any litigation, period. Her personality is docile, easily intimidated and was walked all over in the motion. She even froze in court and didn't answer basic questions by the judge despite weeks of me drilling the information into her. I had to step in during the motion to explain the context to the judge who did not like this. She never took accountability to of her poor performance. She also refused to release any of my file documents to my new lawyer. The bottom lawyer, a cheap lawyer will cost you more than an expensive lawyer. Sophia and Audrey not only costed me their inflated legal fees but through their incompetence, unprofessionalism and mistakes, they have costed me big sums of money on the long run. My advice, go and get competent, confident lawyer not discounted ones like those two. Other people who reviewed both of them on Lawyers ratings echo the same sentiment. check the comments for your self.

Audrey and her team were amazing to work. They handle my divorce case with professionalism, care and compassion . Always answering my questions and taking the time to help me understand ever step. They helped me to get through a very difficult process despite many challenges. Thank you to the entire team for your support.

Patricia and her law clerk were very unprofessional. She started with my case, took my payments in advance and did not fulfill her obligations. After 2 years and $8000 later, she failed to respond back to me after countless messages and calls were made. Her law clerk made it impossible for me to reach out and made excuses for Patricia's disappearance. In the end I had to find a new lawyer to finish the process she failed to do. I did refer her to another person at the time, and she received the same treatment Please do your research and don't allow Patricia Rodriguez Lee to represent you if you are looking for a separation agreement/divorce . I have yet to hear back from her.

Very unprofessional and rude. I called to get some information before putting a retainer and the girl on the phone was pushy and trying to get to give money. I would stay away. Any lawyer that doesn't offer a consultation for 39 minutes no charge is rip off.
