In 2008 Patricia R. Nelson founded Nelson Family Law, a boutique law firm focusing solely on family law. In 2018 Shilpa Mehta brought her experience and commitment to family law clients to the offices of Nelson Family Law. Nelson Mehta Family Law* follows a simple guiding principle which is to provide solid legal advice and guidance to our respective clients that address the clients particular needs within the parameters of the law and this is done in an honest and reasonable manner. No two family law matters are the same there is no one size fits all fix. Some matters invite a creative solution, others require a formulaic approach.

Ms. Nelson has won my case of Parental Alienation with the greatest knowledge and success ! Even the two judges thanked her for outstanding work and comprehensive approach and excellent organizational skills . Ms. Nelson was my “ rock “ during difficult time , she was my lawyer but also my caring , supportive and emotional listener and advisor . She was always there for me , late at night or early in the morning responding to all my questions and giving me strength and hope to believe and fight for the wellbeing of my children. We succeeded in this fight to extend that our case has been published in the law article to assist other lawyers in their fight for a great cause of helping alienated children and affected parents . As a mother and a great believer in justice I can only say big THANKS to Ms. Nelson for being THE BEST lawyer and for serving justice at the highest level with passion and dedication to success and goodness ! I am a health care provider and believe that people like Ms. Nelson that help others in need should be respected and looked up to . Thank you Ms. Nelson for giving me and my children a new life and hope !

I am 65 years old I never had a need for lawyers Never had a problem with the law Unfortunately dark clouds are over my head and I didn’t know how to deal with it With Nelson family law not only I found excellent lawyers I found a friend for life
