Ryan trained as a mediator and arbitrator as part of his LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2013) in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ryan also holds a B.A. Honours from York University (2000) and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2003). His previous experience includes working with a respected Toronto insurance defence firm and in the legal department of a major Canadian property and casualty insurance company. Prior to entering the field of dispute resolution, Ryan worked as a lawyer for over 12 years representing both injured plaintiffs and insurance companies. Most recently, he was a partner at Oatley Vigmond Personal Injury Lawyers LLP.
