Michael is thorough and meticulous, but his client relations skills are not well-developed. I don’t think he recognizes how rude he comes across sometimes – his tone, his manner of speaking and answering questions seem like he’s agitated and annoyed that I needed clarification on legal issues and processes that - had I known the details - I wouldn’t require his services in the first place. It was to the point where during one phone call I became so irritated at the aggressive and condescending way that he was speaking to me that I had to tell him to stop being so rude. In fact, there were several times where I didn’t feel like he was my representation at all. While he was honest about billing, which my wife and I appreciated, we ended up feeling hesitant to ask him questions because of the aggressive manner in which he would respond. By the end, we were directing most of our questions to Bobby Brykman (his colleague and our real estate lawyer) as he was much easier to communicate with. I will not be using Michael for litigation services in the future.

I love Michael. He knows what he's doing. He's a straight shooter who tries to explain complex legal aspects in plain English. He helped me make sense of my employment situation and gave swift and clear advice. I wholeheartedly recommend Michael!

RED ALERT CAUTION WARNING Be Aware - B very Aware - If possible I wish I did not have to grant this man even a one star rating as I can endeavour to state that this man does not even deserve a one star - As he ONLY get this in exchange for BEING ABLE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW TO WARN THE GENERAL WORLD theoretically through this review…so we hope you will heed this advice and warning going forward. This unscrupulous man “masquerading as a lawyer or vice versa” is a disgrace to the profession and a life hazard to society in general and is toxic. Michael Cohen is a lowlife and despicable human being who should be punished for his actions and accountable for his crimes-he is rude, belligerent and disgusting: egregious and corrupt and a liar who should be held accountable for his lies and corruption and his own personal incompetence and unethically questionable conduct- we will be reporting him to the law society as well please don’t hire him to do ANYTHING FOR YOU - even if he offers you free advice or money lol that won’t happen but albeit with him nothing is for free - what he will cost you is way beyond money Not only did he do such harm to our case but he also sold us out and colluded with the opposition counsel in a real estate lawsuit especially when we paid him a fortune for his services and all the while as he pretended to be acting in our interest ESPECIALLY as we THOUGHT that he was our lawyer on record- BUT he was in collusion with the other side earning dirty money from his misdeeds in order to get you to loose your position and prevent you winning the case which should have happened in the first place— After everything unknown to us he had thought he had won the case for them through his strategic planning and his own devious actions- QUITE INTERESTING THE MATTER IS YET TO SEEK OUTCOME- We paid him in good faith and he took all the money and yet he sold us out - WOW - what a lawyer… And so this being said if you’re willing to let this man represent you in any shape or form then you are doing an incredible service of disloyalty to yourself and he is the sinful creature you deserve to have in your life- But one thing you can’t say is that you have not been duly warned - Further he has been sued and is in court for his actions- so do you still believe that no matter however desperate you are … that you still want him to be your lawyer or do you think you deserve better? BE ADVISED FOR ALL YOUR LIFE YOU WILL OTHERWISE LIVE TO REGRET YOUR DECISIONS & unfortunately life is too short for that - He will cost you more that just money because he will like the devil - take your life away from you.
