McBride Wallace Laurent & Cord LLP is a full service, mid-size law firm based in west Toronto. Established in 1968, our clientele includes individuals, large and small businesses and corporations, and financial institutions. Joseph McBride (called to the Bar in 1954) founded the law firm of McBride Wallace in 1959. Paul Laurent (1972), William Cord (1982) Michael McBride (1982), Pierre Sicco (1990), and Walter Kravchuk (2009) joined and have grown the firm over the years. It now includes our tax counsel Marion Howard (1979), Richard Diniz (2012), Gregory Uhrynuk (1987 in association with MWLC), and many experienced law clerks, all of whom bring years of knowledge and experience to the firm, which translates into professional, common-sense, and efficient solutions for our clients.

I was not sure what to expect, but they were nothing but clear, concise and professional from our first interaction to our last when everything was done and completed. We needed to update our Wills. It had been 30 years or so !! Thankfully we were referred to Michael McTeague at MWLC LLP and met with him to go over everything that was new and relevant in our lives so we could make informed decisions around our Wills and appoint Powers of Attorneys, etc. Michael McTeague is patient and kind and listens. He made us feel as though we were THE most important clients he had ever worked with. First class treatment from start to finish. He explained every step of the way and walked us through at our pace. We received a first draft, he made time for questions and met with us over the phone, and twice in person. We felt we received value for our money and would recommend you reach out to have the same kind of experience if you’re in need of legal expertise.

Bill Cord Is a THIEF. Represents the interests of Roman Sharanewych from BCU (Buduchnist Credit Union). Stole tens of thousands from me in fees. Falsified his fees. Stole millions from me (along with Roman Sharanewych) … as in my home! Filed a fraudulent SOC to which the Justice in Milton agreed but did Bill Cord listen to the Judge?? NO!! He continued until they stole my house and lied and committed fraud and now just waiting for the Police to conduct an investigation and charge them . Bill Cord is also an alcoholic and drives while intoxicated. Last meeting I had at his office he drove while under the influence. Slurred his words, tried to steal my Cartier pen, and you could smell the alcohol on him. This review is not from being bitter, it’s here because Bill Cord, his colleague Walter and Roman Sharanewych from BCU shouldn’t be allowed to practice in areas where peoples finances can so easily be taken advantage of for no reason other then committing blatant fraud for their own financial benefits. These people give Ukrainians a bad bad name!!
