In the mid 80s Jane qualified as a Trademark Agent and worked with two Bay Street law firms in Toronto. She moved Windsor where as Director of Trademarks for a global wine and spirits company she was responsbile for many famous brands including Canadian Club, Kahlua, Dunkin Donuts, and Baskin-Robbins. There she attained a law degree from the University of Windsor. Moving back to Oakville, she joined BlackBerry where she managed a legal team responsible for the protection, enforcement and licensing of the company’s trademarks globally.
