The Community Legal Clinic of York Region (CLCYR) is a not for profit organization which serves low-income residents in York Region. The clinic is staffed by lawyers, paralegals and support staff and offers free legal help to those who meet our financial eligibility criteria.

Called with an emergency situation. First, they tried to refuse help. Once I explained in detail how pressing the situation was, they agreed to help and assured me a lawyer would call right away. Didn’t heard from anyone until it was too late.

The worst uneducated young lawyers who don’t understand the law work for this place and they could care less about your situation. It’s changed so much I remember the days when they actually cared. This is the worst people you’d want to defend you. They’re no good at their job I guess that’s why they work at a free law firm

Imagine thinking you had a lawyer this entire time talking with them. Sharing files via email for them to turn around and say they are not representing you … Daniel is the worse!
