Unless you want to be left in the dark for months at a time, lied to, have your money mishandled and be left with next to nothing in the end… I suggest you steer FAR AWAY from this firm. After switching lawyers twice I went to this firm expecting the results THEY promised. Come time to settle a part of my case, I was lied to, promised things and she (Alina) never followed through, and when I confronted her about her lies and misrepresentation and the lack of trust I had going forward, she told me to get a new lawyer. Bailing on a booked discoveries in 3 days, leaving me stranded after screwing me over to begin with. Lucky for her she kept $50,000 of my money and I spoke to her on the phone about 3 times through the years she “represented” me (so worth the money right?) 35% for nothing. They don’t include you in anything, never call when they’re supposed to, don’t hold up their end of things, and certainly don’t look out for you. Do not use AK lawyers if you’re hoping to walk away with your money, honesty and clarity. Alina cares about herself and her alone and it’s very obvious. She’s in her twenties and clearly hasn’t been doing this long enough to be a good lawyer. Do yourself a favour and find a better, more seasoned lawyer who will care about you. If I could put 0 stars I would. If you are dumb enough to use this firm, RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION YOU HAVE!!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough, because when it comes time, nothing will be documented and you will be left screwed like I was when your promises aren’t kept.
