Jarvis Yap Ortega obtained his Bachelor of Laws from University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines. He was called to the Bar in 1995. In the Philippines, he notably worked as an Associate Lawyer at Richard W. Sison & Associates and in the firm of Hermosisima, Sison and Inso, and eventually became the Principal Partner of Ortega and Mayol Law Office. He practiced general litigation in the area of civil cases, criminal cases and corporate matters.

There is something to be said in working with a small family business. Mr. Ortega was so helpful and made everything so easy. We have been trying to put together our will for over 8 years, we procrastinated thinking it will be a long and tedious process. It was not at all. Our questions and concerns were addressed and it was literally done in a few hours. Thank you to both Mr. & Mrs. Ortega.
