Having Chaitali handle my divorce case was a good decision for me. She is a very knowledgeable attorney. She is professional and takes time to study the case and advise accordingly. My ex was abusing and he didn't respond for the entire process. He also changed his address. In spite of not having his address, Chaitali helped me serve my notice by taking an alternative order. She guided me through the entire process to the end. She takes a long time to reply to answer my follow ups, which is the only feedback I have for her. As a result of her busy schedule, it is understandable, but it is also important to reply promptly for processes. I have followed up multiple times on the same matter during the same process or when submitting any new applications during the process. Thanks to her help, I am now free of abuse and am pleased with my divorce. I would definitely recommend her for her expertise and knowledge.

I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional service provided by Ms. Chaitali H. Desai at CHD Law. Going through a family law matter is never easy, but she made the process much more manageable. I was waiting for my divorce for years and my previous counsel couldn’t manage the matter, Ms. Desai very quickly picked up on the matter in a short span of time and within one court appearance I achieved a final settlement on parenting issues related to my son and divorce. Their professionalism, expertise, and compassion truly set them apart. They were always available to answer my questions, providing clear and concise guidance every step of the way. I highly recommend Ms. Chaitali H. Desai to anyone in need of a dedicated and knowledgeable family law lawyer

I feel compelled to write this review because it is never too late to speak the truth. While cleaning out my emails, I came across some documents from Chaitali Desai, which brought back memories of my child custody case in 2021. Despite being a straightforward matter, the level of stress and unprofessionalism I experienced was unimaginable. Chaitali was EXTREMELY rude, and the trauma she caused during an already difficult time is beyond words. Custody battles are inherently stressful, and a supportive lawyer is crucial to make the process more manageable. Unfortunately, Chaitali only made things worse. When I tried to advocate for myself and address her rude and unhelpful behaviour, she dismissed me, suggesting I take my case elsewhere. Before this, she had already expressed halfway through that she no longer wanted to continue with my case, since I was on legal aid. I felt compelled to plead with her to stay on. I still vividly remember her saying, "I don’t have time for this," which added to my frustration and stress. The purpose of this review is to warn others and help them avoid the hassle and hardship I endured.

Edit: just saw the other reviews and wow! So many reviews regarding her behavior and yet no change. I just talked to her for 2-3 minutes and could sense how incredibly disturbing her tone was. Rude & shallow. I called to simply ask some basic information about the divorce act without even hearing me out she simply cut me off saying its a simple case of divorce and nothing complicated not to mention she said “I don’t care how you guys met” . I must say being a family lawyer especially, if you don’t “care” then what are you even doing in this field? For most people, marriages and divorces are a big deal and there much more to it then dates and paperwork. Based on my brief conversation, I would not recommend. Lawyers are supposed to be helpful, not intimidating. Divorces are anyway stressful and traumatic, she will only add to it. Thank god, I didn’t talk for much longer but really glad I posted this review. Obviously seems essential.

LOL. She is waste of money. She made both parties loose entire lifetime savings and when they left her illogical services, they lived happily ever after. Stay away from these money minded people. Get a lawyer who can get your case resolved without creating issues but teach you the right law practices. This lady gets scolded in court room and still does same practices for the sake on money
