I am so pleased to write this review. We contacted Mr makkar for our mothers immigration . From day 1 he was very helpful. He took time to explain us as what to expect the timeline about how long it will take Usually they tell that your immigration will be done in 3 months but here he was very honest about the complex situation . we started our process and entire time he is humble and everytime we had questions he replied to our satisfaction . Nothing against anybody but lawyers dont call back once the matter is in there hands but i can assure you that everytime we needed help we were able to contact him . Either he called or emailed . The fact is that if somebody tells you that dont worry i will take care it feels that things will be done you gain peace specially in immigration matter . Mr MAKKAR is that person who will stand by and always be with you . i felt like writing this even our case is still going on but deep down i know things will work out . I have here for 27 years and i have yet to see a Proffesional like Mr makkar . I guess he understands us well as he is immigrant himself . i would highly recommend him for your legal matters . Case Brief: Gyani Samsher Singh, head priest at Sikh temple Jakarta, Indonesia had applied for visitor visa to visit his adult kids who were studying and working in Canada. His Visa application was refused and further was put on ban for a period of 5 years, due to some misrepresentation in his visa application. He approached me for assistance and guidance, and since we stay in Indonesia it was difficult to take this forward. Through one of the immigration consultant I came to know about Mr Makkar. I spoke to him over phone during November 2022 and based on his knowledge and advise, we decided to proceed with judicial review on visa application in Federal Court of Canada. Legal Process: During the entire process of judicial Review, Mr. Makkar guided us from A – Z and in dealing with him we found that he is one of the most genuine and knowledgeable immigration lawyer. The entire legal process took almost 1 year and went through several phases of ups and down, which was not easy to deal with as we stay in different Geographical region with time difference of 13 hours. During this entire process he was empathetic, honest and transparent. More so we found him to be quite reasonable in his fees. Finally after one year, the court judgement came in our favour and the decision of immigration authorities on visa rejection and misrepresentation was set aside. We are so thankful to Mr. Makkar for his hard work with proper advice and guidance at every stage. Recommendation: Based on our experience, I strongly recommend Mr Harsimran Makkar, for his excellent services, he pays full attention to case with minute details, he is a good communicator, hardworking and his skills at work is exceptional. He gives his best to represent case with perfection.
