In 1985, Novalea Jarvis obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in finance, from Acadia University. She graduated with her LL.B from the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University in 1988 and was called to the bar of Ontario in 1990.

⭐☆☆☆☆

At first I really liked her. Easy going. Unfortunately, her support staff is unresponsive 85% of the time and so is she.. but you will still get charged for the emails they ignore. This firm charges for literally everything, every call every email every print job etc with no exception. She doesn't try to find cost effective ways to help and works as though money is unlimited. She will offer another lawyer in firm to complete paperwork at a lower rate but then she reviews it and charges as well so instead you are getting double charged. I reached the end of my case and she didn't file the appropriate paperwork costing me more than $3000 in addition to what she had already charged me in the last year. Because of her error, I am stuck in a loop with the courts. I wrote to her twice and she has ignored me. Once in a while she will throw breadcrumbs and relieve you of unfair charges. Terrible experience. She couldn't make a court date, sent another lawyer then charged me for the paperwork. I wouldn't have given this rating if she tried to remedy the loop im stuck in or at least respond with a pinch of advice. She chooses to ignore me. Once your retainer is gone, thats it. I understand that's how lawyers work but after getting paid over $30K you would think there would be a little leg room for one measly email to me.

Ms. Jarvis is professional, courteous, trustworthy and thorough. She is a lawyer with integrity and works to ensure the best interest of your family and child. She always consults her clients first! She does her best to avoid court unless completely necessary. She is mindful of costs and their impact on her clients, and is sensitive all their needs. As a lawyer highly experienced and educated in high conflict cases, I would highly recommend Ms. Jarvis to anyone I know requiring family law services. She was able to obtain what I was asking, and was very familiar with situations like mine. I am so appreciative to have had her as my lawyer and would retain her again should I ever require her services.

⭐☆☆☆☆

Very disappointed in Jarvis Law and Kassandra Kelertas. After being referred to them, they agreed to take my case aND then backed out last minute citing another lawyer is "off sick". Cost me a week or so looking for another lawyer. On top of that, they took a friend of mines case afterwards. They don't seem to have much integrity or honesty. I wish my buddy luck, but I have zero respect now for kassandra or jarvis law
