My mom unfortunately retained this law firm back in November to commence her divorce process; I wish we would have read all the reviews before doing so considering they are just selfish, and greedy. She paid $5,000 to be constantly harassed regarding her documents— mind you, we explained countless times that my mom’s CRA was hacked into and temporarily blocked until she was able to verify her identity with the CRA. We explained this a number of times to Elena and whatever team members would try to assist. It’s like it would go through one ear and out another because they would email my mom every day asking for this information. I’m sorry but when you’re dealing with CRA it’s not an overnight process! It’s WEEKS and WEEKS of WAITING!!! As a law firm, you should know this. My mom asked them to please be patient, that she would reach out with all the documents when they are ready. Wanna know what Elena and her team did? They reached out to my mom’s husband! Emailing him information that was supposed to go to my mom!!! My mom was unable to contact Elena so I decided to, Elena said she would not talk to me because she doesn’t know me. But it’s ok to email the other party? She didn’t even acknowledge the error, not even a single SORRY. It’s not even an easy mistake because when she retained Elena, Elena asked my mom to fill out ONE form with her personal information, and a SEPARATE form with his information. How do professionals make a mistake like this in such a delicate situation? My mom literally told her that he could not know she was doing this due to FEAR. Then, my mom reached out in January, informing them that there was a lawyer on behalf of her husband trying to contact her, so she asked Elena if she could deal with this, because it’s what lawyers are supposed to do, right? Not a single response from her. Up to this very day, not a single email, or call following up with my mom. THIS IS HOW THIS LAW FIRM DEALS THEIR CLIENTS!!! Imagine they have a retainer fee and DO NOT CARE. Please please please be cautious dealing with these lawyers! They act like they have your best interest at heart but they genuinely do not. Going through such a stressful time, you seek lawyers to help you deal with this. Not make it worse. It took us so much to gather the money to retain this lawyer and she took my mom’s $5,000 and called it a day. We will be reporting them due to such negligence. DO NOT RETAIN MAZINANI DIVORCE LAWYERS!!!
And if they reply to this stating that this is false I have ALLLLLL the screenshots to back up my statement, and will gladly share these here to prevent others having to go through the same thing. 😊

I had a very disappointing experience with this law firm, particularly with Elena Mazinani. The level of professionalism and customer service was extremely poor. Communication was unclear, and nothing they initially promised actually happened. Instead, I was charged for services that brought no real value.
Most of the staff were rude and lacked proper preparation, especially in handling family-related matters. The fees are excessively high for the subpar service provided. I strongly advise against choosing this firm and recommend finding a lawyer who truly cares about their clients and is committed to achieving results, rather than adding more stress to an already difficult situation.
There was zero empathy, only a condescending attitude, as if clients were working for them instead of the other way around. In particular, Héctor demonstrated a clear lack of knowledge in the topics he was discussing. This firm should prioritize hiring competent professionals rather than individuals who seem unqualified for the job.
Additionally, if you don’t have the financial means, expect to be pushed to the bottom of their priority list. They are unreliable with their scheduling and will still charge you for consultations that never actually took place.
Overall, a very disappointing experience with Elena Mazinani.
