I would rather suffer from cancer than to ever have to talk to Amanda Jackson at this law firm. This woman is not human. Feel horrible for her family.

The billing is out of control. You just get a big fat bill at the end. And then Gowlings starts to litigate against their own customers. Make sure you stay on top of that. Escalate the issue to law society asap when you notice. Make sure you defend bills hard. This firm has very bad reputation for aggressive billing. The management here is pushing lawyers hard to get billable hrs sky high. This firm does not believe in delivering results; the main focus is to squeeze dollars especially from unsuspecting smaller businesses and startup type of operations..

Gowlings has stolen $5.3M USD out of escrow and is refusing to give it back. Gowlings can not be trusted. Partners pretend to be your friends and lie and manipulate the system to steal money.

Despicable. I'd like to think that even a lawyer has a shred of decency would exercise some sort of more judgement over the companies whose money they're willing to take. But not Gowling. They have been vigorously defending Ontario Energy Group (OEG) against the claims of hapless homeowners. It's sad really that a firm of this stature would do this.

I am impressed that this person is so attuned to the law. Congrats to a fine lawyer who represents the firm well. Keep up the great work!! A 5 star rating to the receptionist.
