I retained Mr. David Schatzker as counsel to advise on a complex estate matter that required negotiation and, ultimately, court action. David's professionalism, strategic-thinking and efficiency were critical to achieving our goals. I recommend David and his team fully and without hesitation.

⭐☆☆☆☆

We had the unfortunate experience of hiring Stuart Peikes from this firm for administration of an uncomplicated estate. Not only did Stuart not complete any legal work on this file before he charged us the entire amount he'd estimated his work would cost us, but he also pushed his family and friends' businesses onto us. We ended up terminating the agreement and proceeding with another attorney who completed, in a week, what Stuart could not complete in months. He also charged us incorrectly (for example, billing us for emails that were not sent, charging us for more time for calls than actually transpired, charging us for conversations with his family members, and for putting together a bill of his services). He also told us that the money would come out of the estate so we shouldn't think about how much he was billing us. A horrific experience in an already difficult situation - I would never recommend his services. Edited to add: The firm's response is misleading and inaccurate -- the estate was simple and the other firm we hired made more progress in under a week than Stuart and Clark Farb Fiksel did in months. Their fees were also in line with their initial estimates, while Stuart ran up a bill for the entire initial estimate in just over a month, without notifying us that he had exceeded the initial estimate.
